Happy 4th of July with John Cassaday's Captain America

"You were 19 the first time you felt this. This disbelief. This anger."
"You'd had the body almost a year. the training. You had scares."
"You'd been shot at so many times that you laughed when you found yourself staring down the barrel of a gun."

Captain America vol. 4 #4, Sep. 2002

On this July 4th I'd like to look at a great comic that has been forgotten;
Captain America vol. 4
by John Ney Rieber and John Cassaday

Wolverine's top 5 moments!

Wolverine has been a fan favorite since his creation in Hulk #181 in 1976. He is the tough guy who "is the best at what he does, though what he does isn't very nice." Chris Claremont and Frank Miller fanned the flames of his popularity with this classic 1982 portrayal of him.

Planetary's Doc Brass and other supermen in comics.

One of my favorite things in Warren Ellis and John Cassaday's Planetary is Doc Brass and his league of pulp heroes.
Doc Brass and his crew are all take-offs of famous heroes of the pulp era.
